7:45am            Team Registration. One staff member from each school must check into Control to sign in.

4.00pm            Presentations. Presentations will commence after the last round for each division. 


1. Championship Divisions – At the conclusion of round games, a final will be played between the winners of each championship pool.

2. Ten (10) NSWCCC medals will be awarded to the Winners and Runners up of the Championship Division

3. Minor Division – Ten (10) medals will be awarded to the “first past the post” winners only

4. Up to 10 players can be registered with each team

5. Players must remain with the same team throughout the carnival

6. Matches begin and finish on the centrally timed hooter

7. Each school is responsible for the supervision of their teams and keeping their area clean

8. School sports/netball uniform and positional patches must be worn

9. NO jewellery or taping of nails, earrings or bangles is permitted

10. Each Team is responsible to supply their own ball

11. All matches will be conducted as per NNSWA Ltd Carnival Rules

12. No injury time will be played

13. Teams not arriving within one minute of the commencement of any game will be classified
as a forfeit. The score will be recorded as 10-0.

14. Canteen facilities will be available at the venue

15. First Aid will be available at the venue located next to the female toilets

16. All disputes must be reported by a staff member at Control

17. First named team on the draw is responsible for supplying score sheet

18. Winning team is responsible for returning score sheet to control immediately at the conclusion of the match

19.  The Convener has the right to alter the Draw or Divisions at any time

20. If two or more teams finish on equal points after the final round of matches in their pool, positions for semi- finals or finals shall be decided on the following count back rule:

  1.                 Highest goal difference
  2.                 Most goals scored in favour
  3.                 Least goals scored against
  4.                 The school that won the previous encounter between the 2 teams in their pool game
  5.                 Goal Average:      goals scored       x                 100

The number of matches actually played includes a match a team has forfeited, but does not include a match where the team has received a forfeit

21. All shades are to be erected in designated areas only

22. All areas must be left clean and tidy including court areas


All round games will be:      

  • 2 x 12 minutes halves
  • 2 minute half time
  • 4 minutes between games

FINALS FORMAT - Divisions 2-6 

No finals played, “first past the post” is declared the winner

Junior (Years 7-8),  Intermediate (years 9-10), and Open Championship FinalS

  • If the pools have 7 or more teams, 1st Place from each pool will play in a final
  • If the pools have less than 7 teams semi finals will be played. 1st Pool A v 2nd Pool B, 1st Pool B v 2nd Pool A

If games are drawn at full time; a 2 minute break before the commencement of 5 minutes each way extra time. A toss of the coin to decide the first centre pass for the beginning of extra time.  If a game is still drawn at the end of the extra time, joint winners will be declared.

Finals will be manually timed by a neutral person as determined by the carnival manager.


Schools must supply their own suitably qualified umpires. Umpires of Junior, Intermediate and Open Championship Divisions must hold at least a National C Badge. 

One umpire per team per game is required

Umpiring Format  - UMPIRE YOUR OWN

If only one umpire is present at the start of the game, that umpire is to start the game from the hooter

Neutral umpires will be used in the Championship Divisions where possible

Requests for umpires will incur a fee of $160.00 per umpire


All staff are asked to wear clothing that identifies them to their school and their school name badge
